USC Has Highest Win Total in PAC-12
Despite leaning on a host of transfers and a first year head coach, the Trojans' favorable schedule leads them to having the highest win total in the conference. At 9.5 and odds shaded towards the over, FanDuel is expecting Riley to coach USC to their first 10 win season since 2017.
USC should be favored considerable in all but three games this season: at Utah, at UCLA and home for Notre Dame in the season finale, giving oddsmakers reason to place the team at such a high win total despite lacking some continuity on both sides of the ball.
Meanwhile, the reigning PAC-12 champion Utes sit at 8.5 with a home game against the Trojans on October 15th looming on the schedule. Utah has Rising back in the fold as well as an 1,000 yard rusher in Tavion Thomas. The game in Salt Lake City could determine both teams win totals, but also who goes to the PAC-12 title game.
Elsewhere, Oregon will replace Mario Cristobal with Georgia defensive coordinator Dan Lanning. They are the projected favorites to win the North division. It's worth noting they host Washington on November 12, who is bring on new head coach Kalen DeBoer.
