Formula 1 heads to the United Kingdom for this week's British Grand Prix.

The F1 world is never short of drama, and that was the case this week when Max Verstappen's girlfriend's dad, Nelson Piquet, who is a former world champion, was suspended from the paddock after making a racist comment towards Lewis Hamilton.

All eyes will be on Hamilton this week, not just for what unfolded, but the fact that he's returning for his home countries race. He has won the race a total of eight times in his career, including seven of the last eight editions of it. He's struggled this season, and will be hoping to give Mercedes their first win of the season.

Here are the top 10 odds for the race, courtesy of WynnBET.

Odds to Win the British Grand Prix

  • Max Verstappen -105
  • Charles Leclerc +225
  • Sergio Perez +900
  • Lewis Hamilton +1200
  • Carlos Sainz +1200
  • George Russell +1300
  • Fernando Alonso +15000
  • Lando Norris +15000
  • Valtteri Bottas +20000
  • Pierre Gasly +20000

F1 Betting Picks: Best Bet to Win British Grand Prix

Don't let the storylines and "motivation" factor sway you into betting Lewis Hamilton this week. While the comments towards him were disgusting this week, and he'll want to win in his home country more than ever, that's not going to help his car go any faster.

Hamilton hasn't even been the best driver for Mercedes this season, so if there's either driver you should want to bet on, it's fellow Englishman, George Russell.

I'm going to sound like a broken record, but we have to keep betting on Max Verstappen if they're going to keep listing him at this price. Red Bull has fixed the issues with their cars that they were experiencing early in the season, and Verstappen continues to prove he's the best driver in the best car.

Unless something crazy happens at qualifying on Saturday, it's Max or nothing for me this week.

Pick: Max Verstappen -105
