Last year, the Rams were one of the best fourth-quarter teams in the NFL. They were 0.1 points away from being in the top 10, coming in at No. 11. It was that fourth quarter scoring that helped them secure a World Championship.

Things couldn’t be more different this season.

The Rams are now one of the worst fourth-quarter teams in the NFL. They average the second-fewest points in the fourth quarter (0.8), which is only better than the Tennessee Titans (0.0).

While we’ve thought of the Rams as a good offense and a clutch team, their performance late in games makes them nearly impossible to trust – especially when it comes to live betting.

If the Rams are down heading into the fourth quarter and the line dictates some value, don’t be scared to fade them. Los Angeles has gone scoreless in three separate fourth quarters this season. The only quarter they scored in was against the Atlanta Falcons, and that was a field goal.

Los Angeles’ offense currently revolves around Cooper Kupp. If he isn’t getting the ball, the Rams don’t have a solid plan on how to get players open or in a decent position to score.

Obviously, if the Rams offense looks decent, don’t blindly fade them. However, they’ve been awful down the stretch of games for a month now.

This week, they’ll face the Dallas Cowboys, who are in the top 10 in fourth quarter scoring under Cooper Rush. It feels weird to say this, but Matthew Stafford will have a hard time keeping up with Rush with the strength of Dallas’ pass rush.

Monday Night should’ve opened your eyes to show you that the Rams’ Super Bowl hangover is absolutely real.
