It’s a Week 2 matchup of 0-1 teams, but the defending Super Bowl champs are big favorites at home. Too scared to lay 10.5 with LA, but don’t quite trust the Falcons to win a game ever under any circumstances even if they’re up 15 points in the fourth quarter? Then turn to the prop market to find some value on Sunday.

These are a couple of my favorite props in the FanDuel Sportsbook.

Best Prop Bets for Falcons vs. Rams

  • Marcus Mariota Anytime Touchdown Scorer
  • Marcus Mariota Over 32.5 Rushing Yards
  • Allen Robinson Over 51.5 Receiving Yards
  • Drake London Under 50.5 Receiving Yards

Marcus Mariota Anytime Touchdown Scorer & Over 32.5 Rushing Yards

Mariota ran the ball 12 times for 72 yards and a touchdown last week. I think there is a ton of value on him running the ball this week, not only because of what he did against the Saints in Week 1, but because of what Josh Allen did to LA in the season opener.

Allen rushed for 56 yards and a touchdown on 10 carries against the Rams defense and was Buffalo’s leading rusher. The Rams looked susceptible to the QB running game and Mariota looked dominant on the ground. I think that will have to be the recipe again this week because the Rams secondary will take away his options throwing downfield.

Allen Robinson Over 51.5 Receiving Yards

This could seem counterintuitive after Robinson didn’t even make a catch in his Rams debut, but I think Sean McVay has been in the lab cooking up ways to get Robinson involved. The Rams offense was at its best last year when Odell Beckham Jr. was the isolated receiver opposite a trips formation with Cooper Kupp. McVay schemes Kupp open, but needs the outside guy to be able to win one-on-one and I still think Robinson can, but maybe not to the level of OBJ last season.

McVay is an offensive genius who knows how important a second receiver is and will find ways to get Robinson open and maybe even have Matthew Stafford force him the ball a few times.

Drake London Under 50.5 Receiving Yards

Drake London was impressive in Week 1, he was the team’s leading receiver and they needed him to step up with Kyle PItts having just two catches for 19 yards. Arthur Smith needs to get Pitts involved and I expect more targets to go his way this week. That will cut into London’s share of the offense and the targets he does get will come against Jalen Ramsey. We saw Stefon Diggs burn Ramsey a few times last week, but London is not that type of speed threat or route runner, he is exactly the big physical receiver that Ramsey was created in a lab to shut down.
