FGCU vs. Bellarmine Prediction and Odds (Eagles Looking to Spoil the Knight's Final Home Game)
By Matt De Saro
ASUN Conference action heats up tonight as the Florida Gulf Coast Eagles and Bellarmine Knights are set to do battle at Freedom Hall in Kentucky. The Eagles are having a fantastic end to their season and have won eight of their last nine games heading into tonight’s regular-season finale. The Eagles are also on the hunt for a spot of revenge after Bellarmine won the first game between these two teams 74-63. It was the last game that FGCU lost before their eight-of-nine run began. In an odd twist, that win was one of the last bright spots in the Knights season as they went 4-4 straight up since that win.
Can they turn things around tonight for a season sweep or will the Eagles continue to play well and even this season series? Here are the odds for this ASUN matchup, courtesy of WynnBET Sportsbook.

Total: 145.5 (Over -110/Under -110)
Florida Gulf Coast vs. Bellarmine Prediction and Pick
While Bellarmine has gone .500 since their last game against FGCU, their record against the spread has been far worse. It literally couldn’t be mathematically be worse at 0-5 in their last five games at home and 3-6 ATS at home on the year. As home favorites, they are 2-4 ATS and haven’t covered a game at home since Jan. 18. The way that Bellarmine has been playing the last couple of weeks, I am honestly surprised they are favored in this game. Sure, they are playing in their season finale at home and many expect them to “get up” for this one. I am just not sure what they have left in the tank after a rough couple of weeks.
Another reason to be suspicious of this line is the fact that the Eagles have a top 40 scoring offense and are very dangerous when they have the rock. They are 58th in effective FG percentage, 52nd in two-point shooting, and 86th at shooting efficiency. The Knights rank 245th in scoring offense and could easily be left in the dust along with their 218th ranked scoring defense.
PICK: FGCU +125 to win
