Florida vs. Missouri Prediction, Odds, Against Spread and Over/Under for College Football Week 12

The wheels are off for the Florida Gators, who allowed 42 points to FCS opponent Samford last week in the first half, the most ever.

Not a good look. Despite eventually winning the game 72-58, the Gators are trending downward, losing four straight.

The team will turn around and face Missouri on the road as a considerable favorite again. While UF has the talent, can they beat an inferior opponent and finish their season on a high note.

Part of me wants to bet Missouri here with so many questions about the psyche of Florida, but the Tigers defense is that bad. Mizzou is 116th in yards per play allowed and allowing more than 35 points per game this season.

UF's offense isn't as elite as the talent on hand will lead you to believe, but they are capable of big plays and attacking this Missouri defense. The Gators are averaging more than seven yards per play, fourth best in the country, so I expect they will get their fair share on Saturday.

As for the other side, Connor Bazelak returned from injury against South Carolina and led the Missouri offense to 31 points. The Gamecocks defense is a cut above the Gators by my ratings and I believe that the Tigers are a team to play on towards the end of the year, building some momentum and looking for a bowl bid. Mizzou needs to win one of their last two (it plays Arkansas next week).

I do lean with hosts to win this outright, but will be playing the over as my favorite bet.
