The match of the quarterfinal round is the last one to kick off.

England and France are both in the top 5 of the remaining odds standings and will be two countries looking to make history.

France hopes to go back-to-back, while England is looking to “bring it home.” There’s so much riding on this match, so let’s get right to the nitty gritty.

Here are the odds for this exciting matchup.

France vs. England Prediction and Pick

This matchup is going to come down to how dominant Kylian Mbappe can be. The young phenom is currently in the lead for the Golden Boot and has the most dribbles completed in the tournament. He’s going to put immense pressure on England’s back line, but the English have a legitimate shot at slowing him down.

Both teams have around the same expected goals against, which shows that the defenses will be key. They’ll need to perform at a high level or else this very even match on paper can become one-sided quickly.

France has proven itself to be able to play with the lead and come from behind to score, so if England strikes first, I won’t be too concerned.

However, England’s counterattacking against Senegal was impressive and if they can use their pace to create chances in the open field, I like them to move on.

It’s going to be a tight game, which is why the best bet for me is that this game ends in extra time, so we can bet a draw in regulation.
