French Open Second Round Parlay Picks (Trust Favorites Iga Świątek and Daniil Medvedev Early On)
For us in the states, the second round of the French Open starts tomorrow morning bright and early at 5 A.M. We are still in the early stages of the tournament, so I would stay away from the big names because the juice on their lines makes betting on them not worth it.
However, we should still have some fun at Roland-Garros. That’s why I have a short and sweet four-leg parlay for the second round.
This parlay has +286 odds, meaning a small $25 bet would profit $69.01. Let’s get into it.
French Open Second Round Parlay Picks
- Iga Świątek -6.5 vs. Alison Riske
- Victoria Azarenka ML vs. Andrea Petkovic
- Alexander Zverev -5.5 vs. Sebastian Baez
- Daniil Medvedev ML vs. Laslo Djere
Iga Świątek vs. Alison Riske Prediction
Swiatek is one of the most sure bets in this entire tournament. She was the odds on favorite to win the tournament before it started. She’s been so dominant that even betting on her to win in straight sets is -900. She’s going to dominate this match, but -5.5 is the best way to bet this second round matchup.
Victoria Azarenka vs. Andrea Petkovic Prediction
This will be the fourth time these two play against each other. Azarenka has dominated this matchup, going 3-1 against Petkovic. It took three sets for Azarenka in the first round, so I’m a little less confident about a straight set win in this one. However, Azarenka is winning nearly 40% of her return games, which means she’ll be able to break Petkovic often.
Alexander Zverev vs. Sebastian Baez Prediction
Zverev was the first player in the second tier of the odds standings. He has the potential to make it to the final, but he’ll have a tough path to get there once the third round begins. Nevertheless, this is a match he should win easily. Zverev just beat Baez in Rome a few weeks ago. He beat him in straight sets there and I wouldn’t be surprised if he did it here.
Daniil Medvedev vs. Laslo Djere Prediction
Medvedev is still recovering from an injury, but he is still one of the best players in the world. I had him as one of my dark horses to win it all because of his experience and the fact he could sneak up on the rest of the field.
Djere won the only matchup between the two back in 2017. It’s been a long time since then and Medvedev has the tools to overcome him now.
