The Fresno State Bulldogs and Air Force Falcons will face off tonight in Mountain West Conference action at the Clune Arena. The Bulldogs enter the week on a four-game losing streak and are looking to move back to .500 in conference play with a 6-7 record. On the flip side, things are going bad for the Falcons as well who are dealing with a seven-game losing streak and are just 3-11 straight up in conference play. It will be interesting to see which of these two struggling MWC teams can come out on top tonight. Here are the odds for this conference clash, courtesy of WynnBET Sportsbook.

Fresno State vs. Air Force Prediction and Pick

If you hadn't already guessed by the total above, this game is going to be low on excitement and baskets. Neither team has a good offense and the Air Force squad is statistically one of the worst overalls in the whole nation. Out of 357 schools, they rank 352nd with 59.7 points per game scored on average. Fresno State doesn’t have it quite as bad at 297th, but there is obviously a lot of room for improvement.

One area that the Bulldogs don’t need help, however, is their defense that shockingly ranks fourth in the nation in points allowed per game. The Air Force ranks 63rd in the same category.

This game is a bit easier to predict thanks to the consistent play that Air Force has produced. They are consistently bad SU but keep winning against the spread, especially in conference play. One thing that did surprise me to learn was the Falcons ATS record. It's not amazing at 15-10, but, for a team that appears this bad, the fact they are covering 55 percent of games is a big deal. On the road, they are 6-5 ATS and 9-5 in conference play.

So, I'm going to take a chance on Joe Scott’s team tonight to hang tight with Fresno State and cover their second game in a row.

Pick: Air Force +7 (-110)
