Fresno State vs. Wyoming Prediction, Odds and Spread for College Football Week 7
By Thomas Snodgrass
The Fresno State Bulldogs are now unranked, dropping from No. 18 to the outside of the latest AP Poll after losing to the Hawaii Rainbow Warriors last week, 27-24.
Bulldogs’ quarterback Jake Haener had been playing well, with only two interceptions thrown on the season, but coughed up four interceptions to Hawaii’s defense in the loss.
The Wyoming Cowboys started the year off 4-0, but they took their first loss last week. In the first Mountain West Conference game on the slate, Wyoming got dumped by the Air Force Falcons, 24-14.
The Cowboys could only scrounge up 277 total yards of offense against Air Force’s stingy defense, and the run-first team didn’t help themselves by fumbling three times, losing two.

Fresno State vs. Wyoming Prediction and Pick
Wyoming had a 4-0 start before last week’s loss to Air Force. Those four wins came against FCS Montana State, Northern Illinois, Ball State, and Connecticut. That’s not exactly a tough schedule. UConn may be the worst team in the FBS level and the Cowboys only beat them by two points.
Before Fresno State’s loss to Hawaii last week, its only loss came from the Oregon Ducks. The Bulldogs also upset then-No. 13 UCLA Bruins to climb into the AP Poll. Fresno State also played UConn this season and beat them 45-0.
Wyoming has decent statistics for passing defense, but of the teams they’ve played this year, no passing offense even comes close to the Bulldogs 396 passing yards per game.
I’m not sure why this game has a three-point spread. I wouldn’t be surprised if Fresno State won by three touchdowns.
I’m taking Fresno on the spread at -3.
