George Washington and George Mason each look to get back in the win column Sunday afternoon in Fairfax, Virginia when the two Atlantic 10 rivals square off at 2:30 p.m. ET.

Both teams come off losses against the two Richmond, Virginia schools, with George Washington falling to Richmond 84-71, and George Mason dropping a 72-66 game to VCU. It was the third consecutive road game for the Patriots, going 1-2 on the trip since Feb. 16.

The Colonials got the best of the Patriots back on MLK Day in a 77-76 win in D.C as Joe Bamisile dropped 26 points and six boards in the upset win as a +276 moneyline underdog (+7.5 on the spread).

George Washington vs. George Mason Prediction and Pick

Despite George Washington picking up the upset win back in mid-January; covering as a 7.5-point home dog, I like George Mason to take care of business in a revenge game in their building.

The Patriots have been excellent covering the number at home this year, going 8-4-0 ATS and return home having played well on the road despite going 1-2 SU. The Patriots lost their two final games by an average of 4.5 points to Fordham and VCU, and only lost to Fordham due to one of their worst offensive performances of the year; shooting just over 35% from field goal range and 25% from downtown.

Where this sets up well for George Mason is G.W. simply doesn't have anyone to contain sophomore forward Josh Odoro who didn't play in their previous matchup. The reigning A-10 Player of the Week leads the Patriots with 18 points per game, while being a physical force inside at 6'9, 235 pounds.

George Washington ranks 308th in offensive rebounding percentage and ranks 292nd in the country in total rebounds/game. With Mason having four guys 6'7" or taller in its rotation (compared to just two for G.W.), expect the Patriots to control the game inside, get plenty of second chance points, and beat down on the Colonials

LEAN: George Mason -10
