Georgia Tech vs. Boston College Prediction and Odds: Yellow Jackets Looking for First ACC Win of the Season
By Matt De Saro
Georgia Tech gets another shot at their first conference win of the season tonight when they head to the Conte Forum to take on Boston College. After starting the season 5-1, the Yellow Jackets are just 1-7 since and have had no luck against their ACC peers. Their lone win since November was against Georgia State. Their ATS record is even worse and currently sits at 4-9-1 on the year. However, as a road team, they are 2-0 against the spread.
Boston College has also struggled to find success in the conference and enter this game with a 1-2 record in the ACC. The Eagles are on a four-game losing streak are just 1-3 ATS in that span.
Neither of these teams are very good, but they do match up well and should play a close game tonight. Here are the odds for this ACC brawl, courtesy of WynnBET Sportsbook.

Georgia Tech vs. Boston College Prediction and Pick
Boston College struggled against good scoring offenses so far this season and got beat up by UNC pretty bad. Luckily for the Eagles, Georgia Tech is not a good scoring offense. They rank 231st in the nation in points per game at 67.9 and shoot under 70 percent from the charity stripe.
This is a big deal because the Eagles' defense is actually quite good all things considered. They rank 55th in the country in scoring defense and 26th in total rebounds on defense. Bad news for Georgia Tech who is equally as bad on defense and will have trouble managing the score and tempo of this game. They are 135th in the country in scoring defense at 68 points per game and they are allowing opponents to shoot almost 50 percent from the field.
While I do think this game is pretty close down the wire, I feel good about Boston College’s defense leading them to a win and cover. With a 2-7-1 mark in their last 10 games and 1-6-1 in their last eight as underdogs, I don’t have much faith in GT to cover here.
Pick: Boston College -2 (-110)
