Georgia Tech vs. Miami Prediction and Odds (Hammer the Hurricanes at Home)
By Matt De Saro
The Miami Hurricanes are back on their home court after getting beat by Virginia on the road 71-58 over the weekend. The loss put them into a tie for fourth in the ACC with North Carolina.
Tonight the Canes get a chance to beat their ACC rivals, the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets, for the second time this year and get back on track. Georgia Tech enters this game with a 10-12 overall record and is just 3-8 in conference play. It has been a disappointing season for a team that won the ACC tournament last year. Here are the odds for this conference rivalry, courtesy of WynnBET Sportsbook.

Georgia Tech vs. Miami Prediction and Pick
Not only have the Yellow Jackets been losing games outright left and right, but they are also failing to cover said games. Georgia Tech is just 7-13-1 ATS and failed to cover four of their last five. The lone ATS win during that stretch was a win over Clemson as underdogs. GT ranks 229th in scoring offense and 193rd in scoring in a case of poop play on both ends of the court. They rank 226th in total rebounds and 273rd in free throw shooting to boot. It’s hard to have faith in betting on a team that can’t even get the fundamentals of the sport right.
The Hurricanes, meanwhile continue to win on the back of their offense that is averaging 74.6 points per game and is shooting over 53 percent from two and almost 36 percent from deep. Admittedly, their defense is pretty bad at 220th in the nation. But, they match up well against GT, and their offense should lead them to another win and cover against the Yellow Jackets.
Pick: Miami -9 (-110)
