An ACC Coastal rivalry will be rekindled on Saturday with the Miami Hurricanes and Georgia Tech going head-to-head.

The Yellow Jackets will hope to put a halt to their two-game losing streak after losses to Virginia and Virginia Tech. The losses dropped Georgia Tech to 3-5 and 2-4 in conference play but it has looked better recently, despite the losses. The offense, in particular, has looked much stronger over the last few weeks.

Meanwhile, Miami got off to a slow start themselves after having to play Alabama Week 1. But, much like Georgia Tech, Miami has looked much better lately and is on a two-game winning streak. What is really impressive is those two wins came over two ranked teams, NC State and Pitt.

Here are the odds for this ACC Coastal rivalry, courtesy of WynnBET Sportsbook.

Georgia Tech vs. Miami Prediction and Pick

Make no mistake, this will be a very difficult game for Georgia Tech. The Yellow Jackets are on a two-game losing streak and hit the road to face a team that just beat two ranked opponents back to back.

The offense has been better lately, but they will need a “season-best” performance from the group to take out Miami. So far in eight games, the Yellow Jackets are averaging 28.5 points and 417.6 yards per game.

This offense could be so much better too, if not for the turnover issues of freshman QB Jeff Simms. His touchdown pass to interception ratio is 11/6, and while he added four additional touchdowns on the ground, he needs to cut down on his interceptions.

Luckily for Georgia Tech, Miami’s defense is pretty bad for a team on a winning streak. Especially through the air, where the Hurricanes rank 118th in opponent passing yards per game. But, even after giving up 587 yards to Pitt, they still managed to win, and, Georgia Tech is far from the team that Pitt is.

So far, Miami has had to outscore opponents and I don’t think Georgia Tech can put up enough offense to keep up on Saturday.

Pick: Miami Hurricanes -10.0 (-110)
