Georgia Tech vs. Notre Dame Prediction, Odds, Against Spread and Over/Under for College Football Week 12
By Matt De Saro
The No. 9 Notre Dame Fighting Irish have turned on the afterburners as the season winds down and will host the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets at Notre Dame Stadium this weekend.
The Irish have covered five straight games against the spread (ATS) and seven of their last eight. On the flip side, the Yellow Jackets are falling apart down the stretch. Georgia Tech is on a four-game losing streak and their defense gave up over 500 yards against BC in Week 11 including 310 yards passing.
The Georgia Tech offense didn’t play badly in the loss. Jordan Yates threw for 126 yards and a touchdown while rushing for 47 yards and another touchdown. Jamyr Gibbs led all in rushing yards with 96 yards on 19 touches.
There is no denying that Notre Dame is a superior team all around. But, are the Fighting Irish good enough to win by 18?

Georgia Tech vs. Notre Dame Prediction and Pick
Notre Dame is the ninth-ranked team in the nation, 9-1 on the season and riding a five-game winning streak. Georgia Tech, according to TeamRankings, would be 77th in the nation if such a thing existed. The Yellow Jackets are 5-5 on the year and have lost four in a row and five of their last six.
Notre Dame dominated Virgina last week, especially on defense, allowing just 278 yards in total offense and just three points.
Notre Dame still has a chance to slide up the rankings a bit and is a much better team. 18-points better in my estimation and I have a good feeling about the Fighting Irish winning their second blowout in as many weeks.
Pick: Notre Dame -17.0 (-110)
