The No. 2 Auburn Tigers have been flying through the SEC, and haven't lost since a 115-109 overtime loss to UConn back on November 24th. They should have no issue adding to their win-streak tonight when they take on the lowly Georgia Bulldogs, who are basement dwellers in the SEC this season.

Georgia is 5-12 on the year, but is still seeking its first conference win, sporting a 0-4 record against SEC opponents. The Bulldogs' latest loss came at the hands of Vanderbilt, falling by a final score of 73-66.

Let's take a look at the odds via WynnBET for tonight's SEC showdown.

Georgia vs. Auburn Prediction and Pick

Make no mistake about it, Auburn is the far superior team and there's no doubt that the Tigers will win tonight's game. With that being said, 21.5-points is a wild proposition when it comes to betting on the spread. Georgia is certainly having a down year, but it's not like Auburn is playing some average mid-major team from the Sun Belt Conference.

The Bulldogs have fine numbers when it comes to offense. They rank 156th in effective field goal percentage and 174th in offensive efficiency. They are truly one of the worst defensive teams in the country (307th in defensive efficiency), but their offense has shown flashes of competence and should be able to keep this game within 20 points.

A lot of things need to go right for a team to win by 20+ points, and despite being the No. 2 team in the nation, I'm not in a rush to lay this many points on Auburn.

Pick: Georgia +21.5
