Georgia vs. Kentucky Prediction, Odds, Spread and Over/Under for College Football Week 12
By Josh Yourish
Georgia got the last big win they needed over Tennessee two weeks ago and then last week, they cruised to a 45-19 win over Mississippi State. The Bulldogs are primed for a matchup with LSU in the SEC championship game, but first they need to close out their SEC schedule against Kentucky in Week 12. The Wildcats may have officially hit rock bottom, even at 6-4. Last week a 24-21 loss to Vanderbilt is about the worst thing you can do in SEC Football.
Now, Will Levis and the UK will try to bounce back against the No. 1 team in the country. Let’s take a look at the odds for this one.
Georgia vs. Kentucky Odds, Spread and Total
UK and UGA Betting Trends
- UK is 6-4 ATS
- UGA is 6-4 ATS
- The Under is 9-1 in UK games
- The Under is 6-3-1 in UGA games
- Under is 7-0 in in UK’s last 7 vs. a team with winning record
- Under is 5-2 in last 7 meetings
Georgia vs. Kentucky Prediction and Pick
The trends scream that the under is the play. Just about every Kentucky game this season has gone under because of their 17th ranked defense, and more so because of their 108th ranked offense. Will Levis is a first-round talent at quarterback, but last week was a disaster. He went 11-for-23 for 109 yards and an interception against Vanderbilt, and now he has to try to navigate his way through the Georgia defense. Not going to happen.
The Wildcats were able to run the ball against Vandy. Chris Rodriguez went for 162 yards and two TDs on just 18 carries, but it won’t be easy against Jalen Carter and the Bulldogs fourth ranked run defense.
Kentucky is done for the year and Georgia is just tuning things up for the SEC Championship game. I don’t see Stetson Bennett IV and the Bulldog offense slowing down anytime soon. I like the under, but I love Georgia laying the points.
Pick: Georgia -22.5 (-105)
