The College Football Playoff semifinals are finally here!

The Georgia Bulldogs, after being the No. 1 team in the country, are now the No. 3 seed after losing to now No. 1 Alabama in the SEC Championship game. No. 2 Michigan finally beat Ohio State and earned their spot in the playoffs. These are two teams that are trying to get over the hump and return to the top of college football.

Whether it's the defense of Georgia or the running game of Michigan, one unit will look dominant and help carry their team to the championship game. Who will take advantage of the moment?

Here are the odds for their matchup via WynnBET.

Georgia vs. Michigan Prediction and Pick

When the lines opened at the beginning of December, our own Matt De Saro thought the Michigan Wolverines would be able to keep this game close.

I still think Georgia has one of the best defenses in the nation and the Wolverines will have to play the best offensive game they have played all season; maybe over the last few seasons. Michigan has only played a few ranked teams as well, but passed their last test by beating their “final boss” in Ohio State. Georgia, meanwhile, stumbled in a game they were expected to win. …It will be close, to bet the Wolverines to cover, but close doesn’t win titles

I’m going to go against Matt here. Georgia’s defense has been the most dominant in the country all season long and the team that took them down was ALABAMA.

I wouldn’t worry too much about the strength of their defense and would still bank on them winning this game convincingly, especially with the line dropping to -7.5.

Pick: Georgia -7.5  (-110)
