We've got a showdown of two teams desperate for wins tonight as the 16-11 Texas A&M Aggies host the 6-21 Georgia Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. EST.

The Aggies have won just once in their last 10 games while Georgia's futility is even worse with one win in 16 tries. A&M beat Georgia 81-79 back in January, but will they be able to cover a large spread as a home favorite or does value lie with the Bulldogs to keep it close again?

Let's check out the odds courtesy of WynnBET:

Georgia vs Texas A&M Odds, Spread and Total

Spread

  • Georgia +12 (-110)
  • Texas A&M -12 (-110)

Moneyline:

  • Georgia: +525
  • Texas A&M: -750

Total:

  • 145.5 (Over -110/Under -110)

Georgia vs Texas A&M Prediction and Pick

Choose your fighter! Do you want the Aggies as a 12-point favorite despite going 1-4 against the spread (ATS) in their past five or do you prefer the Bulldogs, who have failed to cover in three straight and are just 9-17-1 ATS on the season?

If you said neither, you're in luck! I'm staying far away from the spread in this one. I can't trust either team, so instead I'm looking to the total for value. The over has been a fantastic bet for both team's games and I'm going right back to that well today.

Thanks to an atrocious defense that ranks 287th nationally in adjusted efficiency, the over has hit in three straight Georgia games and is 6-2 when they're a road underdog. The Bulldogs play at a top-85 tempo in the country and have the 11th-highest free throw rate in America. With A&M ranking 347th in defensive rebounding percentage and 294th in defensive free throw rate, Georgia should have plenty of extra possessions and opportunities at the charity stripe.

Meanwhile, despite their rebounding deficiencies on the defensive end, the Aggies are also an excellent offensive rebounding team and get to the free throw line at a high rate. The over is 15-5 in their last 20 games and is 7-2 in their last nine as a home favorite.

160 points were scored in the first matchup between these teams and I think we see another high-scoring game that gets comfortably over the total.

Pick: Over 145.5 (-110)
