Giants vs. Cowboys Best Anytime Touchdown Scorer Picks for Thanksgiving Day
The New York Giants and Dallas Cowboys appear to have the matchup of the triple-header on Thursday. There’s a lot on the line, with the NFC East race tightening up down the stretch.
We know who the obvious choices are to score a touchdown are in this game, but let's go after some big value available on the board.
Here are three players I like to pay off big for an anytime touchdown score on Thanksgiving Day.
Best Anytime TD Scorer Picks for Giants-Cowboys
- Dalton Schultz (+230)
- Darius Slayton (+290)
- Dak Prescott (+600)
Dalton Schultz - Cowboys TE
Schultz got back in the touchdown column two weeks ago against the Packers, making his presence this season known. The Giants are going to try and stop CeeDee Lamb and Tony Pollard from walking into the endzone. Schultz can be that intermediate target that the Cowboys need.
With just over 6 targets per game over the last month, Schultz has decent volume to justify this prop.
Darius Slayton - Giants WR
Slayton has caught a touchdown in two of his last four games. He’s emerged as a top target for Daniel Jones, seeing 10 targets his last time out. If Jones is going to throw the ball, it’s going to be to Slayton.
He played his highest percentage of snaps last week. As long as he’s on the field for a while, I like Slayton to score.
Dak Prescott - Cowboys QB
Prescott is only averaging 3.4 yards per carry, but there’s a good chance he can get a score with a goal line sneak or read option. Last week, the Cowboys had a drive in which Tony Pollard struggled to get into the end zone. They had to bring Ezekiel Elliott in to finish the job.
If there’s another situation in which Elliott comes in on the goal line, the Cowboys can easily counter a big Giants front with a Prescott run.
