A classic NFC East battle will take place on Thanksgiving Day when the New York Giants head to Texas to take on the Dallas Cowboys.

Want some to have some extra fun betting on the game? Might I suggest sprinkling on a same game parlay. Remember, these parlays are difficult to hit, so you may want to wager less than you would on a normal bet.

Allow me to break down my favorite same game parlay for you.

Best Same Game Parlay Picks for Giants vs. Cowboys

  • Alternate spread Cowboys -2.5
  • Alternate total UNDER 52.5
  • Tony Pollard 80+ rushing yards
  • Daniel Jones UNDER 195.5 passing yards
  • Dalton Shultz Anytime TD

Alternate spread Cowboys -2.5

I always like to buy some points on the spread in a same game parlay, so that's what I'm doing here. If we can take the spread down from -10 to -2.5, we can cross two key numbers of both seven and three. The Cowboys beat the Giants in Week 3 with Cooper Rush at quarterback. If Dak can lead them to at least a three point win, this leg of the parlay will be a winner.

Alternate total UNDER 52.5

The most dominant unit in this game is the Cowboys defense, so let's buy some points and bring this total up to 52.5. Dallas has the number one ranked scoring defense in the NFL, allowing only 16.7 points per game. If they have another strong performance on Thanksgiving, the total should stay well under 52.5.

Tony Pollard 80+ rushing yards

Tony Pollard has begun to raise questions about who the best running back in Dallas is. He has been a dominant runner in recent weeks, and he's averaging 70.1 yards per game this season. He has surpassed 80 yards in four straight games, and he's averaging a blistering 5.9 yards per carry.

Now he gets to face one of the worst running defenses in the league. The Giants rank 31st in opponent yards per carry, allowing 5.3 yards per rush.

Daniel Jones UNDER 195.5 passing yards

Daniel Jones is only averaging 193.7 yards per game this season and now he has to face one of the best pass defenses in the NFL. Dallas enters the game ranking third in opponent yards per pass attempt at 5.6 and first in opponent passing yards per game, allowing just 174.5.

Jones could be in for a long game on Thursday.

Dalton Shultz Anytime TD

Dalton Shultz still only has one touchdown on the season, but he's going to get more sooner rather than later. He has seen at least five targets in four straight starts, and has at least five catches in three of those four games.

I'll toss this bet in there to really boost the odds on this parlay.
