The Dallas Cowboys will host their NFC East rival New York Giants down in “Jerry’s World” at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

The Giants got the elusive first win of their season, defeating the New Orleans Saint in overtime, 27-21. Daniel Jones threw for 402 passing yards and will look to repeat that performance in Week 5 against a Cowboys’ defense that has allowed 336 passing yards per game (31st in the NFL).

Dallas gave the Carolina Panthers their first loss of the season last week, winning 36-28. Dak Prescott played an efficient game, completing 14 of 22 passes for 188 yards and four touchdowns. The running game came through in a big way for the Cowboys, with Ezekiel Elliot turning 20 carries into 143 rushing yards and Tony Pollard rushing 10 times for 67 yards. Pollard and Elliott will run against New York’s 21st-ranked rushing defense in Week 5.

Giants vs. Cowboys Prediction

Congratulations to the Giants for getting their first win, but the Cowboys will put them back in the losing column in Week 5.

Dallas' strong defensive front seven has bottled up running backs, so there won’t be as much room for Saquon Barkley to roam in this one. If Daniel Jones is forced into a heavy-passing game script, then the Giants will be in trouble.

One matchup I’m looking at is Jones vs. Cowboys’ cornerback Trevon Diggs. Diggs already has five interceptions in the first four games after picking off Sam Darnold twice last week. Jones has had turnover issues in the past, and I think they will be returning in Week 5.

The Cowboys have already played in three games that have hit over 60 on the total. I’m taking Dallas on the spread at -7 and the over on 51.5.
