The struggling New York Giants hit the road this week for a date with the Miami Dolphins on Sunday at Hard Rock Stadium. While their season has been more downs than ups, the Giants do see Saquon Barkley return to action after his annual serious injury kept him sidelined. The G-Men are still dead last in a very bad division but with Barkley and Kenny Golladay back in the lineup, the tide could be turning.

Just kidding.

Because it’s the Giants and now that the rest of the offense is back, it’s Daniel Jones’ turn to sit out with an injury that has been nagging him for weeks. Jones is not a great option but he is much better than backup Mike Glennon. This is why the spread opened at 2.5 and is now 4.0 and the total has fallen one point since Sunday.

Here are the odds for this Week 13 matchup, courtesy of WynnBET Sportsbook.

Giants vs. Dolphins Prediction and Pick

The Dolphins have struggled this season but, unlike the Giants, appear to be on the right track in the second half. Miami started the season a dismal 1-7 but reeled off four straight wins. Those wins came against the Houston Texans, Baltimore Ravens, New York Jets and Carolina Panthers. Not the most elite group, but a win is a win.

Tua Tagovailoa has been the biggest reason for the Dolphins’ resurgence with a completion rate of over 80 percent so far this month. Tua has dealt with finger and rib injuries this season, but he is just on fire right now. In last week’s win over the Carolina Panthers, Tagovailoa went 27-for-31 for 230 yards and one touchdown. It was his second straight game with a completion percentage over 81.0.

The Giants getting Barkley back may be a big deal, but it could also be another letdown from the young star. He has been a real letdown since being drafted and just can’t seem to stay healthy. I expect a slow return from him and this entire offense especially with Glennon under center.  Favorites are a little scary to bet with such a low total but I think the Giants will continue to underperform. Plus, the Dolphins have shown their ability to beat bad teams over the last four weeks.
