Nothing like a cup of coffee and a football game at 9:30 a.m. on the east coast. I love me some London football and this is the first time that a game in London has featured two teams over .500. The Green Bay Packers and New York Giants will play at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this Sunday and we may finally answer some questions about this Green Bay offense.

Giants vs. Packers Odds, Spread and Over/Under

Giants vs. Packers Odds, Spread and Over/Under Movement in NFL Week 5

The spread opened at 6.5, but has gone up to 8 through the week, and the total opened at 45.5 and has come down.

Giants vs. Packers Prediction and Pick

The Packers needed a field goal in overtime to beat the Patriots led by Bailey Zappe, so I would say that absolutely nothing is off the table. Aaron Rodgers just hasn’t been able to make this offense dynamic in the way that it was with Davante Adams on the outside. Matt LaFleur’s vision for this team was a dominant run game, but they just haven’t been able to dominate a game with Aaron Jones and AJ Dillon. Green Bay is seventh in the NFL in rushing yards through four weeks, but they are 21st in points per game.

New York will be able to hang around in the exact same way that New England hung around last week- running the ball down Joe Berry’s defense’s throat. Green Bay lives in light boxes and doesn’t allocate resources to stopping the run. This has led to them giving up five yards a carry this year.

I do think Daniel Jones’ ankle injury will play a role in this game. Jones has been most effective running with the football this year and if he can’t do that at the same level, then this Giants offense will struggle even more than it has despite their 3-1 start. However, New York closed out the game against Chicago last week with Saquon Barkley at QB. Maybe the quarterback doesn't matter and Saquon will take over the game.

I don’t think you could find a game with less talent at wide receiver, Allen Lazard is probably the most talented guy on the outside for either team, so in the modern NFL that screams under to me. Maybe Green Bay finally figures it out and blows out a team that they are a big favorite over, but I can’t trust it so I’ll just play the total and stay away from the spread. I expect AJ Dillon and Saquon Barkley to run the ball 20 times each and finally decide who has the biggest quads in the NFL.

Pick: Under 41.5 (-115)
