Giants vs. Packers Prediction: Offense Is The Best Defense

The Packers survived a scare last week against the New England Patriots and now are big favorites again. They’ll take on the New York Giants, who have made their way to 3-1 on the season. Saquon Barkely looks rejuvenated and has put this offense on its back. He’s been the driving force of the Giants’ hot start, but his success will be put to the test this week. 

Will the Packers throw water on the Giants’ great start or will New York pull off the upset in London?

The spread has stayed the same, but the total has dropped from 41.5 to 40.5.

Giants vs. Packers Best Bet and Prediction 

New York found a lot of success last week rushing the ball, finishing with 262 yards on the ground. They’ll enter this game with the same gameplan, as the Packers are 22nd in the league in opponent yards per rush. However, the Packers’ defense will have the upper hand overall, and I think that will push them over the edge.

Green Bay is top 10 in opponents points per game, yards per game and in touchdowns per game. They’ll put a strain on a Giants offense that has yet to score more than 21 points in a game this year. 

As for the Packers’ offense, they are still going to run it through A.J. Dillon and Aaron Jones. They are 8th in the league in rushes per game and top 10 in yards per rush and in rushing yards per game. 

With the Packers’ style of play, I think this one has a great chance of hitting the UNDER. New York’s offense isn’t explosive enough to where I would trust it even in garbage time. 

The Packers should control and dominate this game from the start, keeping it low scoring.
