For the second straight week, the New York Giants fell to a last second field goal. First to the now 1-2 Washington Football Team, and then on Sunday to the 1-2 Atlanta Falcons.

As a Falcons fan that had a hefty sum on their moneyline, it was a fun game to watch in person. Please note the dejected Lions fans leaving the stadium as I’m soaking in the win.

The Giants now head to New Orleans for the Saints first true home game of the season. The Saints had to play the Green Bay Packers in Jacksonville in Week 1 as their stadium and the city of New Orleans recovered from Hurricane Ida.

They have been cleared to return home for Week 4, just in time to host the lowly Giants in an NFC matchup.

Giants vs Saints Prediction and Pick

As bad as the Giants have looked through the first three weeks of the season, I’m going to back them to cover the 7.5-point spread against the Saints in Week 4.

New Orleans is 2-1, but its offense has been one of the worst in the NFL. The Saints are only averaging 4.3 yards per play, which ranks 29th in the NFL. The only offenses that are averaging fewer yards per play is the Jets, Dolphins, and Bears.

Meanwhile, the Giants offense has been serviceable. They rank 16th in yards per play at 5.6. Their defense also hasn’t been terrible, ranking 19th in opponent yards per play at 5.8.

Everyone is down on the Giants right now, but they haven’t played as poorly as their record might indicate. This is a perfect opportunity to buy low on a team, I’ll take them getting the 7.5 points against the Saints.

There you go Giants fans, maybe this will be the first step in the process of getting you to forgive me for cheering against your team at MetLife Stadium last weekend.
