The 40-29-4 Vegas Golden Knights take on the 35-28-10 Vancouver Canucks for the third time in the last two weeks tonight at 10:00 PM EST.

These teams split the two previous meetings, with Vegas winning the first 3-2 and Vancouver winning the second 5-1.

Both squads come in hot. The Golden Knights' only loss in their last seven games was to the Canucks, while Vancouver has won three straight after losing to Vegas.

Who has the edge in this rubber match? Will Vegas stay hot or will the Canucks get their fourth straight win?

Let's check out the odds from WynnBET to help find a winner in this Golden Knights vs Canucks matchup:

Golden Knights vs Canucks Prediction and Pick

The Canucks' defense has been superb of late, allowing only four goals in their last three games, helping the under go 4-1 in their last five. Vegas only scored four in the two games against Vancouver last week, so we know the home squad is capable of continuing their stellar defensive play.

But, two-way star Mark Stone could return tonight for Vegas and he'd be a huge boost to a club that's struggled with injury all season.

Whether his return could overwhelm a stout Canucks defense is fair to question, but the Golden Knights are a much better team with him in the lineup.

On the year, Vancouver has been rather dreadful as a home underdog as its offense has struggled. They're 4-12 in their last 16 in this spot and the under is 10-2-1 over the previous 13.

Vegas is 11-4 in their last 15 as a road favorite and I think they're in a good spot to get revenge on the Canucks. It's going to be a fierce atmosphere though, so I love the under trends to continue as well.

Give me the Knights to earn a rubber match win and the under to improve to 5-1 in Vegas' last six on the road. We're getting a discount on the number for the road favorites and if Mark Stone plays, I expect this number to rise.

Pick: Golden Knights (-135) and Under 6 (-115)
