The Vegas Golden Knights hit the road on Sunday to take on the San Jose Sharks in a battle between two teams who are in the middle of significant losing streaks.
The Golden Knights have dropped three-straight and are in danger of falling to third place in the Pacific Division tonight. The Sharks have been on an even worse stretch, losing five games in-a-row which has caused them to fall to second-last place in the division.
Let's take a look at the odds via WynnBET for tonight's Pacific Division matchup.

Golden Knights vs. Sharks Prediction and Pick
I have not been a believer in the Golden Knights all season, mainly due to their abysmal play in their own end. They rank dead last in the NHL in high danger scoring chances allowed over their past 25 games. Now they take on a Sharks team that has a similar offense-first style, but is admittedly not as good at executing it.
The Golden Knights should get back on track with a win tonight, but that's not where I'll be placing my money. Instead, I'm looking at the OVER. Any time the total is set at 5.5 in a Golden Knights game, fire at will at the OVER.
These two teams rank 29th and 32nd in high danger scoring chances allowed over their last 25 games, and seventh and ninth in high danger scoring chances for over that same stretch. They also both rank in the bottom half in save percentage.
All signs point to goals being scored tonight, so I'll continue to bet on my favorite wager this NHL season which is OVERs in games involving Las Vegas.
Pick: OVER 5.5 (-125)
