Gonzaga vs. BYU Prediction and Odds (Bulldogs to Stay Undefeated in WCC Play)
By Matt De Saro
The No. 2 Gonzaga Bulldogs continue to be a near-unstoppable force in and out of conference play through 20 games. At 18-2 overall and 7-0 in the WCC, Gonzaga leads the conference and has been blowing teams out on a nightly basis. The Bulldogs have won their last three games by at least 30 points and their last 11 games by double digits. Gonzaga also has yet to lose a game against the spread on the road this season en route to a 5-1-1 ATS record in conference play.
BYU, meanwhile, is on a three game losing streak and rank sixth in the WCC. They were most recently beaten by San Francisco as 2.5 point favorites. It was the third game in a row that the Cougars lost outright as favorites on the spread.

Gonzaga vs. BYU Prediction and Pick
As I did with my previous article on Gonzaga, I’ll make this short and sweet. Gonzaga enters this game with the top-ranked scoring offense and leads the nation in effective field goal percentage and average scoring margin at +25.2. They rank second in assists and rebounds per game and shoot better percentages than any other team from two points range. Their defense is good enough that these offensive numbers are more than most teams can handle. I will include BYU on this list preemptively. The Cougars rank outside of the top 100 in both scoring offense and scoring defense. They allow more steals per game than 95 percent of the nation and get called for more than 17 personal fouls per game.
Gonzaga is just on another level. They are the most dangerous offense in the nation and, until they stop blowing teams out, I won’t stop betting on them.
Pick: Gonzaga -6.5 (-110)
