Grizzlies vs. Lakers prediction and odds for NBA Summer League
By Reed Wallach
The Grizzlies entered Las Vegas Summer League as one of the favorites to win it all, but have unerwhelemed to date, going 1-2 and putting up only 74 points.
The team turns its attention to the 2-1 Lakers, who are fresh off its first loss to the Celtics, but in two wins looked very strong, beating the Hornets by 18 and hanging 103 in a seven point win against the Warriors.
Can the Grizzlies grab a win as small underdogs or will the Lakers get back on track and keep an outside chance alive at a playoff spot in Summer League?

Grizzlies vs. Lakers prediction and pick
The Grizzlies' talent far exceeds its potential, but the team has been a mess on the offensive end, shooting 19-of-74 from beyond the arc in two losses, but this is a stark change in opinion in the betting market for Memphis.
The Grizzlies closed as more than three point favorites in each of the prior three games, but the team's poor shooting has led to an overreaction in the market.
Los Angeles has had great production from the likes of Colin Castleton, who is averaging over 14 points, nearly 10 rebounds and five assists while also generating two steals and a block. Castleton has been a menace on both sides of the floor, but Kenny Lofton Jr. should spark a bounce back outing from the Grizzlies, averaging over 20 points, the second most at Summer League.
I'll play on the Grizz getting some betting shot variance and keep it tight with the Lakers.
PICK: Grizzlies +2.5 (-110)
