Grizzlies vs. Warriors Prediction and Odds for Game 4 (Trust Warriors After Dominant Game 3)
By Peter Dewey
The Memphis Grizzlies might be in trouble here in the Western Conference semifinals. They are already down 2-1 in the series and may be without superstar Ja Morant.
Morant injured his knee in Game 3, and he didn’t play the final seven minutes after limping off. It’s possible he was banged up on this play:
The Grizzlies were seven-point underdogs in Game 3, but with Morant’s status in doubt, WynnBET has moved the Grizzlies to even bigger underdogs in Game 4.
The Warriors dominated Game 3 with a 142-point game and a 30-point win behind big games from Steph Curry, Klay Thompson and Jordan Poole. When those three guys are going, the Warriors are tough to beat, and that may be the case again on Monday night.
Let’s take a look at the odds for this game:
Grizzlies vs. Warriors Odds, Spread and Total
Spread:
- Grizzlies +9 (-108)
- Warriors -9 (-108)
Moneyline:
- Grizzlies: +325
- Warriors: -425
Total:
- 226 (Over -108/Under -108)
Grizzlies vs. Warriors Prediction and Pick
It’s really hard to fade the Warriors at home, so I’m not going to in this game.
The Grizzlies have been one of the best teams in the league even when Morant is out of the lineup, but there’s no way this team is the same against Golden State with Morant pushing the action in the open court.
The Warriors split the games in Memphis despite Steph Curry, Klay Thompson and Jordan Poole failing to all click in the same game, and the Warriors’ offense finally hit its potential in Game 3.
I’d wait until we know Morant’s official status, but grabbing the Warriors at -9 may be a steal if Morant does get ruled out.
Lean: Warriors -9 (-108)
