The Cleveland Guardians look for their fifth consecutive win this afternoon from Camden Yards in Baltimore when they take on the Orioles at 4:10 p.m. ET.

During their win streak, the Guardians have outscored their opponents 25-9, playing some of their best baseball to begin the month.

The pitching matchup is a good one. Right-hander Triston McKenzie goes for the Guardians as he looks for four straight starts of seven-plus innings. He's opposed by fellow right-hander Tyler Wells; coming off his best start of the season with six shutout innings against the Boston Red Sox.

Let's take a look at today's odds over at WynnBET Sportsbook.

Guardians vs. Orioles Prediction and Pick

I'm tempted to take the Guardians on the moneyline given their recent success, but after further evaluation, I believe the smarter play is on the under instead.

During their win streak, the Guardians have outscored their opponents 25-9, playing some of their best baseball to begin the month. Over their last 10 games, their pitching staff has compiled a 2.72 ERA.

The 24-year old McKenzie is blossoming. Through eight starts, he's got a 2.65 ERA, and an ERA just over 2 over the month of May. He's averaged just under 7 innings per start in the month as well.

The problem for Cleveland is Tyler Wells has also been excellent over his last several starts; doing a terrific job pitching to contact, and not allowing free passes with a walk rate of just 4% this season.

With both pitchers seemingly locked in and pitching with some mid-afternoon shadows in Baltimore, eight total runs feels a tad too high today.

PICK: UNDER 8 (-120)
