The Celtics and Hawks square off in one of only two early NBA games being played today. With both teams squarely in the playoff hunt after slow starts, it should make for an eye-opening matchup at the TD Bank Garden.
Who will come out with the win? There's an incredible betting trend that hints that it'll be the Celtics, but we'll get to that right after we look at the odds from WynnBET.

My initial lean was to back the Hawks, even with John Collins out over the next several games. Boston, despite their defensive prowess, has the occasional lapse and can let hot offensive teams, like the Hawks, shoot their way back into games if they take their foot off the gas pedal.
Right now, that doesn't appear to be the case. Boston owns the top defensive rating in the NBA and has given up 100-plus points three times in it last 10 games.However, we have to consider one of the most unbelievable betting trends in the league this year.
At the beginning of the week, BetSided's Peter Dewey discovered that the Hawks are either incredible or disastrous when it comes to their record against the spread record.

The Hawks are 0-28 against the spread this season when they lose.
That's right, they have failed to cover in a loss all season.
However, they are 23-2 ATS when they win.

They've since played two games vs. the Pacers and Spurs and the trend has continued. Atlanta is now 24-2 ATS in wins, and 0-29 ATS in losses.
With how hot the Celtics are right now, as well as Trae Young being banged up, this doesn't appear to be the ideal time to back Atlanta to cover.
