Miami is locked into the No. 1 seed in the East while the Magic are locked into the best possible lottery odds, so today's contest is more about staying healthy than anything. Hence, nobody cares.

Well, nobody cares except us bettors. Because there's always value to be found, even if the teams playing don't need to win.

This is one final opportunity for young players to prove themselves before the offseason, and one final regular season game for us to make some dollars on.

I'd expect nearly no starters from either team to play today. The Magic have already ruled out their starting five and the Heat should be announcing the same any moment now.

Luckily for Orlando, they've been playing with backups all season already so this shouldn't change much!

Jokes aside, I do think this spread is far too big for a Heat squad likely not playing any starters. The last thing Miami wants is for someone important to get hurt in a meaningless game, so they should be playing a very relaxed style conducive to Orlando buckets.

This is purely a value play for me, but I think there's a great chance the Magic end the year on a high note. Give me Orlando on the moneyline as the Heat just want to make it to next week without disaster.
