Bryce Young Can Make History with Heisman Win
This may come as a surprise to some of you, but despite Alabama dominating the college football world throughout the past two decades, no Crimson Tide quarterback has ever won the Heisman Trophy. Mark Ingram, Derrick Henry and most recently DeVonta Smith last year have all won the award for Alabama, but none of those players were quarterbacks.
Bryce Young is now on a fast track to be the first, and barring any major injury or a player behind him playing like Superman the rest of the season, the Heisman Trophy is his to lose.
There is, of course, the chance that Desmond Ridder could steal it away from him if he can lead Cincinnati to be the first team from a non-power five conference to make it to the College Football Playoff.
