Kenneth Walker III Would Be Michigan State's First Heisman Winner

Michigan State has never had a Heisman Trophy winner in school history. If Walker III can continue his strong campaign, he will make history as a Spartan. Only two players in school history have finished in the top three of Heisman voting. Those two players were running back Walt Kowalcyzk in 1957 and running back Sherman lewis in 1963.

Matt Corral of Ole Miss and Desmond Ridder of Cincinnati would also be the first Heisman winners from their respective schools if their able to catch the top contenders by the end of the season.
