Heading into Week 11 of the College Football season we decided to take a look at which teams had the best over/under (O/U) record when betting totals and which had the worst. While betting against the spread (ATS) is generally more popular, there is a ton of betting value to be had wagering totals. ATS records are all over the place, even during the live broadcasts now, but totals records are often overlooked.

Let’s take a look at three teams whose O/U records stand out and their matchups in Week 11.

Pittsburgh 7-2 OVER/UNDER

Pittsburgh makes it into the top 3 of both O/U records and against the spread records. They are 7-2 in both instances and have been very good to bettors this season. In Week 10 the Panthers host the North Carolina Tar Heels who are 6-3 against O/U on the year. It’s no wonder the total for this game is currently 72.0 at WynnBET Sportsbook.

Utah 7-2 OVER/UNDER

Utah has a bit of a different story this week in terms of teams and their O/U records. The Utes head to Arizona Stadium to take on the Wildcats who are 3-6 against the O/U on the season.

Don’t be fooled into thinking that the Wildcats are keeping games under the total because of their amazing defense. The real reason that the Wildcats have played just three games to go over the total is that their offense is awful. They rank near the bottom of the nation in points per game with 15.6.

The over still has a good chance of hitting here because the Wildcats defense isn’t all that great either. Utah is currently in first place in the Pac-12 with a 5-1 conference record and will feast on this Arizona team.

Illinois 1-8 OVER/UNDER

Moving towards the low-scoring teams, we have the Illinois Fighting Illini. Washington and LA-Lafayette are also just 1-8 against the O/U but the Illini have a very interesting matchup against another low-scoring team. The Iowa Hawkeyes.

This will not be the usual Big Ten West shootout as both teams are defensive minded. Coming into Week 11, Iowa also has failed at hitting overs and has an O/U record of 2-7.

WynnBET currently has this game total as 37.0 for this matchup and no matter what happens, we’re in for a defensive clinic.
