The NFL’s International Series is back and bigger than ever in 2022. The league announced that there will be five games that will be played overseas. Three games will be played in London, a common city for the international games, one game will be in Mexico City and the last game will take place in Germany.

These games will be scattered throughout the season, so let’s take a look at when they will take place.

Minnesota Vikings vs. New Orleans Saints in London, U.K.  (Oct. 2)

The Saints and Vikings are both going to be fighting for the final wild card spot this season. Minnesota’s offense has the pieces to be explosive, but New Orleans’ defense has retooled – signing Tyrann Mathieu this off-season. Both teams are in the same tier, but this will be a fun battle of styles.

New York Giants vs. Green Bay Packers in London, U.K. (Oct. 9)

Green Bay will make its international series debut, going up against a Giants team that isn’t supposed to contend for much. The Packers’ offense will look fairly new without Davante Adams, and this will be an early season chance for them to get on the same page.

Denver Broncos vs. Jacksonville Jaguars in London, U.K. (Oct. 30)

The Jaguars have become London’s team and will make their ninth trip to London since 2013. This game is fairly intriguing with the new-look Broncos going up against the re-designed Jaguars.

Seattle Seahawks vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Munich, Germany (Nov. 13)

This is the first time the NFL will host a game in Germany. This matchup will be an interesting one as the Buccaneers will likely be in the middle of a race for the top seed in the NFC, while the Seahawks will be trying to figure out their quarterback situation.

San Francisco 49ers vs. Arizona Cardinals in Mexico City, Mexico (Nov. 21)

The NFC West will be taking their talents south in the fifth game the NFL has ever hosted in Mexico. This is the first time Estadio Azteca will host a game since 2019. The timing of this game elevates the importance of it. This will be the Monday Night Football game heading into Thanksgiving week. The NFC West is expected to be a tough division again, and this will certainly be a turning point.
