There are a ton of injuries in the Charlotte Hornets-Chicago Bulls matchup on Wednesday night, so is there some value?

Let’s find out.

The Bulls are expected to be without Zach LaVine in the second leg of a back-to-back after he played against the Brooklyn Nets on Tuesday night. The Bulls had players such as Ayo Dosunmu and Coby White on the injury report for Tuesday, so it’s possible they could miss this game as well.

For Charlotte, LaMelo Ball (out) and Terry Rozier (doubtful) are both trending in the wrong direction as well.

The Hornets and Bulls are both fighting to stay in the playoff picture in the East this season, but Charlotte is relying on Dennis Smith Jr. and James Bouknight as two of its main guards at the moment.

Hornets vs. Bulls Prediction and Pick

The Hornets are six-point dogs at open in this matchup, and I actually think there is some value in betting on them with LaVine out on Wednesday.

Still, the Hornets have been a volatile team to bet on, losing by 20 to the Orlando Magic and then beating the Golden State Warriors last week. So proceed with caution with betting on Steve Clifford’s squad.

The Bulls’ interior defense worries me a bit against Charlotte’s frontcourt of Nick Richards, Mason Plumlee and P.J. Washington, especially with Andre Drummond (out vs. Nets) up in the air for this game.

Chicago is 13th in defensive rating this season, but it is worse than Charlotte offensively. With LaVine out, things may be even worse on offense. I wouldn’t be shocked if the Bulls win this game, especially at home, but on a back-to-back I am not comfortable laying the six points with them.
