Houston vs. Tulane Prediction, Odds and Spread for College Football Week 6
The Houston Cougars are the only 2-0 team in AAC play heading into Week 6, and they can improve that number to 3-0 on Thursday night when they hit the road to take on Tulane.
Tulane lost its first game of its conference schedule when the Green Wave fell to East Carolina 52-29 in Week 5. After nearly upsetting Oklahoma in the opening Week of the season, Tulane has only managed to win one game through the first five games of the season and it came against FBS opponent Morgan State in Week 2.

Houston vs Tulane Prediction and Pick
Houston seems like the obvious play as a 6-point favorite based on how these two teams have performed so far this season, but with Tulane at home it could be a letdown spot for the Cougars. For that reason, I’m going to look at the total instead and I’m going to take the OVER 60 at -110.
Both teams attack their opponents through the air, as Tulane ranks 23rd in pass play percentage (55.21%) and Houston ranks 46th (51.09%). That should bode well for the OVER, as neither team has a strong defensive secondary.
Houston is giving up 7.5 yards per pass attempt, which is 70th in the country, and Tulane is giving up 8.9 yards per pass attempt which ranks 112th.
Let’s cheer for points in this one, give me the OVER 60 in this AAC showdown.
