How High is Too High for Justin Jefferson’s Receiving Prop Number?

The Minnesota Vikings enter Week 15 in a must-win situation to keep themselves in the NFC Wild Card race, and will surely lean on star receiver Justin Jefferson to do so.

Jefferson is second in the NFL in receiving yards this season and may be the clear top target as the Vikings may be without Adam Thielen again this week.

Even if Thielen goes, he may not be 100%, leaving Jefferson to go off against a depleted Chicago Bears secondary. The LSU product has a big number next to his name in the receiving yard prop market at WynnBET Sportsbook, but let's see if he can go over it.

Justin Jefferson Receiving Yards: 94.5 (Over -115/Under -115)

Yes, I believe Jefferson is in line to go for over 100 yards and dominate a depleted Bears secondary.

The entire secondary!

I'm not sure how the Bears plan on slowing down such an explosive receiver in Jefferson with a group of backups shading him. In my opinion, it would help Jefferson's case to go over if Thielen plays because he would warrant more attention on the field.

Jefferson has received 29 targets over his past two games after Thielen left early two weeks ago against the Lions.

Considering Chicago has zero legitimate threats in the secondary, I can't see how Jefferson doesn't rip several big plays down field. He is averaging more than 10 yards per target this season so I expect Cousins to look deep for No. 18.

On the year, Jefferson has five games of 100 or more receiving yards, but given the state of the Bears defense, and potentially limited options in the passing game, I see this as a strong wager.

PICK: Jefferson OVER 94.5 Receiving Yards (-115)
