The Divisional Round of the NFC playoffs sees two teams full of talent do battle in the Sunshine State. The Los Angeles Rams and Tampa Bay Buccaneers will face off to determine which team goes on to the conference title Game. While each team features a top-tier quarterback, I want to focus this article on one of the top targets in the game. Tampa Bay wideout Mike Evans. I think he matches up well against this defense and will see a lot of attention from Brady on Sunday.

The full betting preview for this game can be found here. But, I wanted to dive deeper into Evans’ player props and make some predictions. All prop odds listed are courtesy of WynnBET Sportsbook

Mike Evans Props vs. Rams

  • Player total receptions yards 72.5: Over-115/Under-115
  • Anytime touchdown scorer: -167

Evans Is One Of Brady's Only Healthy Receivers

The name of the game here is the frequency of targets. With so many offensive weapons out for the Buccaneers, Evans along with Rob Gronkowski,  are the only real threats left in the passing attack. Chris Godwin is out with injury and Antonio Brown “ended his career” for the third or fourth time. Backup Breshaud Perriman will also be sidelined and Cyril Grayson remains questionable.

While this is bad news across the board for Tampa Bay, it is great for Evans’ outlook for the Divisional Round. In the last two games without Brown and Godwin, Mike Evans has gone full beast mode. In those two games, Evans totaled 15 targets for 206 yards against the Panthers and Eagles. Evans is not only one of the league’s elite receivers, but he could be counted on more than any other game this season on Sunday.

Jalen Ramsey will probably be on him most of the day but Evans is just better and will find space to operate. I am happy to take Evans OVER 72.5 in a spot where the Bucs need a big game out of their best receiver.
