Illinois vs. Iowa Prediction, Odds, Against Spread and Over/Under for College Football Week 12
By Matt De Saro
The Illinois Fighting Illini and the No. 20 Iowa Hawkeyes will face-off in Week 12 action at Kinnick Stadium. Iowa currently leads the Big Ten West with an 8-2 overall record and can punch their ticket to the Big Ten Championship Game with a win over Illinois this week and Nebraska in Week 13.
Illinois is also coming off a win over Minnesota two weeks ago with a final score of 14-6 in a largely defensive battle. Brandon Peters was generally ineffective and managed to complete 7-of-9 passes for 80 yards and a touchdown. Thankfully, the Illinois rushing game saved the day and Chase Brown ran for 147 yards on 32 carries.

Illinois vs. Iowa Prediction Prediction and Pick
The Hawkeyes lost their chance at the CFP after losing two straight games to Purdue and Wisconsin. Despite that, Iowa still has a shot at the Big Ten Championship game and a date with either Michigan, Michigan State, or Ohio State. They will need to win out and for Wisconsin to lose to either Nebraska or Minnesota as the Badgers hold the tiebreaker.
Getting back to this week, I think Iowa continues to win this weekend against a pretty average Illinois team. The Hawkeyes’ offense will dominate Illinois’ defense and I see no way Brandon Peters does enough to keep up.
Pick: Iowa -13.0 (-110)
