It has been tough sledding for the Nebraska Cornhuskers, losers of 10 of their last 11 games, but can they hold up against the visiting Indiana Hoosiers?

IU is still searching for its first road win of the season after squandering a second half lead to Iowa, and will look to grab one against the basement dwelling Cornhuskers.

Here are the odds for this Big Ten matchup, courtesy of WynnBET Sportsbook.

Indiana vs. Nebraska Odds, Spread and Total

  • Indiana -8 (-115)
  • Nebraska +8 (-105)

Moneyline:

  • Indiana -390
  • Nebraska +300

Total: 146.5 (Over -110/Under -110)

Indiana vs. Nebraska Prediction and Pick

If there is something that the 6-12 Cornhuskers do well, it's force and limit their own turnovers.

Nebraksa is top third in the country in both turning their opponent over and limiting their TO's. That could be impactful given the fact that Indiana is bottom third in those same metrics. The Hoosiers thrive on interior defense and playing inside, but again, Nebraska is better than most in that spot.

The Cornhuskers have a strong interior defense, limiting opponents to just about 50% from inside the arc and opponents are scoring just 47% of their points on two pointers.

With the 11th shortest average possession length, Nebraska can push the pace in this one and get to the Indiana defense before they get set. The Hoosiers are a fine three-point shooting team, but if they can't can a few this game can go down to the wire.

This is too many points to lay on the road in Big Ten play against a hungry Nebraska team that is hunting for their first Big Ten win.
