Last season was a disappointment for Josh Jacobs. After an extremely promising rookie season, Jacobs was never able to hit the ground running in 2020.

He had less scrimmage yards despite playing two more games and saw his yards per carry drop by almost a full yard. Going into the 2021 season, WynnBET believes his regression from his rookie season might be even more.

WynnBET has released its odds for the NFL’s rushing title, and Josh Jacobs is 20th on the list with +10000 odds to lead the league in rushing yards. This is interesting because Jacobs had the third-highest number of carries last season. However, he only gained 3.9 yards per carry which was good for 43rd in the league.

Jacobs was eighth in the league last season with 1,065 yards, but had the worst efficiency out of all the running backs to pass the 1,000-yard mark. Jacobs only passed the 100-yard mark in two games last season, which was three games less than his rookie season.

Over the offseason, the Las Vegas Raiders signed Kenyan Drake from the Cardinals, which indicated that Jacobs would see less touches than before. Drake was another high volume back in 2020. His 239 carries were good for seventh in the league.

Las Vegas also has also rebuilt their offensive line which should be interesting. The Raiders had one of the best offensive lines a few seasons ago, but quickly has seen the line change.

With the offensive line still trying to find its footing and Kenyan Drake trying to make his presence known, Jacobs might be in for another long season.
