The Sooners lost their playoff hopes along with their perfect record and are out for blood. I think that Iowa State will be victimized by this team coming off such a tough loss. The Sooners were held to just 260 yards on offense which marked the worst figure since Lincoln Riley took over five seasons ago. Coincidentally, it was their lowest score since they lost to Baylor 48-14 in 2014. 

Getting back to 2021, the Sooners’ passing attack is potent, averaging 284 yards per game. The passing game is complimented well by a group putting up 171 YPG on the ground. 

This is a great bounce-back opportunity for Oklahoma who still has a lot to play for as they are now tied with Oklahoma State for the top spot in the Big 12.
