Iowa vs. Rutgers Prediction and Odds for Big Ten Tournament Quarterfinals (No Underdog Upset Repeat)
Don't let the seeds fool you. Even though Rutgers is the fourth seed and "home team" in this game, very few think the Scarlet Knights are good enough to beat fifth-seeded Iowa a second time this year, including Vegas. But with their tournament hopes still very much in limbo, can Rutgers pull off a second stunner after upsetting the Hawkeyes at home in mid-January? No, and I'll tell you why after we go through the odds from WynnBET.

Iowa vs. Rutgers Prediction and Pick
Rutgers has been up-and-down all season long, beating Michigan State, Ohio State, Wisconsin and Illinois in four straight games but losing to Northwestern U Mass and Lafayette too. The winning streak was more recent, and they've gone 7-3 ATS over their last 10. However, they're just 4-9 on the road versus 14-3 at home. While this is a "home" game, they're playing at the Barclays Center, which is most certainly not the RAC.
Iowa, meanwhile, has been hot recently, going 9-2 down the stretch and scoring 71 or more points in each of those games. Rutgers was able to hole them to 46 in their win in January, but that was at the RAC and I think they'll have a harder time slowing down Iowa again, especially after the Hawkeyes lit up Northwestern for 112 points yesterday.
The Hawkeyes will be out for revenge in this game and I think they get it. Rutgers has never faired well outside of the cozy confines of the RAC and their 5-8 ATS record on the road and overall road record speaks to that. They are the home team in name only and I see Iowa being better positioned for this game after acclimating to their surroundings with a big win yesterday.
Lean: Iowa -6.5
