The Iowa Hawkeyes (6-1) will face the Wisconsin Badgers (4-3) in a Big Ten matchup at Camp Randall Stadium in Madison on Saturday.

The Hawkeyes are coming off a bye week after their upset loss to the Purdue Boilermakers on Oct. 16th. Iowa’s offense has struggled to put up points by comparison to other highly-ranked teams in the AP Poll, only scoring seven points in the loss to Purdue.

Wisconsin started the season cold, losing three of four games, but have won three in a row, beating Purdue, 30-13 in Week 8. The Badgers defense hasn’t allowed more than 14 points in each of their last three wins.

Here are the odds for this Big Ten matchup, courtesy of WynnBET Sportsbook.

Iowa vs. Wisconsin Prediction and Pick

Wisconsin’s defense has been one of the best in the country, allowing just 161.5 passing yards, 64.3 rushing yards, and 19.3 points per game. But, Iowa has been built in a similar way; defense first.

Both Spencer Petras of the Hawkeyes and Graham Mertz of the Badgers have been subpar quarterbacks, so this game should be a battle between ground attacks.

Wisconsin is averaging 207 rushing yards per game compared to Iowa’s 116.6 rushing yards per game. If Wisconsin can avoid turnovers from quarterback Graham Mertz, which has been a problem, then they should be able to pull off the home win.

I’m taking the Badgers at home on the spread at -3.
