New England Patriots fans have had three weeks of Bailey Zappe mania, but it appears that will be coming to an end in Week 7 against the Chicago Bears.

Zappe filled in admirably for the injured Mac Jones, leading the Patriots to two wins. However, he'll return to the bench in Week 7 with Jones expected to play.

Even though Jones started the season slow, throwing just two touchdowns and five interceptions in his first three games, the Patriots aren't throwing away everything he did in his rookie season to get them to the playoffs.

The former first-round pick is the team's unquestioned starter, even with Zappe playing so well in Weeks 5 and 6.

Bettors that were hoping to take advantage of another low line for Zappe in Week 7 will have to wait until he gets another shot. The fourth-round pick in the 2022 NFL Draft threw for 309 yards and two scores in his last start.

Now, with Jones back in the lineup, the Patriots have moved to 8.5-point favorites against Justin Fields and the Bears in Week 7.

Even with the Bears' struggles on offense this season, this is still a huge number to lay with a Patriots team that hasn't exactly lit the league up this season, especially with Jones under center.

Best Bailey Zappe and Mac Jones Prop Bets vs. Bears in NFL Week 7

There isn't a real player prop angle for Zappe in this matchup since it's unlikely he sees the field, but I don't mind taking a shot on Jones to throw an interception in this game.

Jones threw a pick in each of his first three starts and has five on the season. The Bears have five interceptions as a team and have actually allowed the fewest passing yards in the NFL to this point in the season.
