Oregon had their College Football Playoff hopes dreams come to an end on Saturday against Washington, but all of their postseason dreams may come crashing down on Saturday against Utah.
Ducks quarterback Bo Nix left the game late in the fourth quarter due to an injury, but returned for the final drive in the 37-34 loss to Washington. While Oregon can't make the CFP, they are still in control of their own destiny to go to the PAC-12 Championship. However, Nix's status is very much in doubt.
Here's the latest on the Oregon quarterback:
Latest Bo Nix Injury Update
There has been no word from head coach Dan Lanning about Nix's status but did a teammate reveal how Nix is feeling?
Oregon WR Kris Hutson seemed to indicate Bo Nix won’t play this weekend:

"Obviously, Bo is down, so it's the next man up.”
“I can't wait to see him (Ty Thompson) out there ready to go” https://t.co/3dfTXUoI77
Lanning is as tight lipped as they come and he revealed nothing in regards to Nix's status, but it's clear that the quarterback is banged up.
Asked Oregon Ducks coach Dan Lanning about the injury to QB Bo Nix.

He said: “I don’t want to be specific to that. I think that creates a competitive advantage to the opponent. We’ll just say it wasn’t his pinky finger. That’s not what it is.”
The betting market reacted to the news that Nix may be hurt, possibly confirming the fears that the Auburn transfer could indeed be out on Saturday in this pivotal PAC-12 game. The Ducks moved from -3 to +2.5 on Wednesday, a very significant shift.
Again, there is no confirmation that Nix will be out, but the betting market is prepared for (likely) Ty Thompson to be under center in place of Nix.
